I am looking to buy these wheels on ebay for my 2006 Boxster S.

Here is a summary of my driving style:

I use the car for 99% city driving and put about 7,000 miles a year on my car and have never done track driving (although might light to try it down the road). I am looking to replace the wheels that came with the car and keep my tires.

And most importantly, I am ignorant when it comes to specs/mechanical issues, etc.... I don't want to spend $1,000 on wheels to find out that I made a mistake or they don't fit.

Can somebody tell me if I am making a mistake or need more information? Or better yet, they think it will work....

Here are the specs according to the seller:

Offset: 50 mm front & 47 mm rear

Bolt Pattern: 5 X 130

Size: 18 X 8.0" front & 18 X 10" rear

Weight: 24 lb front and 26 lb rear

I have included a link of the seller on ebay and my car

I think stock is 9.5" on the rear, it should say on your wheels. Are you planning on new tires too?

the ones that you want to buy looks like they are 19' sport design wheels....

Exactly but fit an 18" Boxster....

If these are the 19" SportDesign wheels, they are the ones I have on my Boxster and look really good. If they are 19" you're obviously not going to be able to fit 18" tyres on to these wheels.

They're quite a firm ride, so convince yourself that you're satisfied with changing the characteristics of the way the car drives.

They are 18" wheels that are copies of the SportDesign wheels...
