I am about to take a 1200 mile roadtrip and my delamination has become out of control, the bottom part of the vinyl window has completely come off of the canvas, the top is in flawless condition. I have used the search feature to find a temporary fix to no avail. Aside from taking the car to an upholestry shop, something I do not have time for in the next 5 days, has anyone had success in temporarily sealing the gap between the vinyl window and the canvas?? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

You could try something like this ...

Back in my high school days I had to safety pin my convertible window up in my 87 Mustang until I could afford to replace it. It worked, but it wasn't a good seal by any means.

Don't know what to suggest.

I wouldn't call it a great solution, but I used industrial double sided tape. It was a few years ago, and I needed a quick fix for a drive event. It ended up lasting about a week, and then took me about an hour to remove it after I got home. Make sure you take the pressure off of the window before you attemp to bond it.

Best of luck......

If you have fabric to fabric then go to a camping goods store. They sell a fabric repair kit that's used to mend rips in tents. The repair material uses heat ( an iron) to warm the glue on the patch which will bind to the fabric on the top.
