Ok, I just replaced all four oxygen sensors. I haven't driven the car since I replaced the water pump, belt, spark plugs, and oxygen sensors. After 15 minutes of warming up the car, the check engine light came on:(. Here are the codes:

P1115 Oxygen Sensor Heating 1 After Catalytic Converter - Above Upper Limit

P1117 Oxygen Sensor Heating 1 After Catalytic Converter - Below Lower Limit

P1119 Oxygen Sensor Heating 2 Ahead of Catalytic Converter - Below Lower Limit

P1121 Oxygen Sensor Heating 2 After Catalytic Converter - Below Lower Limit

Any ideas on how to fix this issues??? I erased the codes myself using my OBD...but not really sure if it will come back again. I got the oxygen sensors from oxygen geek.com...

Thank you

Can you provide a bit more info - year/model, and describe the O2 sensor (direct fit / universal)?

They might have sent you the wrong sensors, and you may want to double-check your connections (particularly, if the sensors are universal with a spliced connector).

it is for a 1998 boxster, direct fit.......

That rules out a bad splice. They could be the wrong type. If you still have your old ones, and an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the heating circuit - across the two white wires (though yours may be different), and then unplug your new ones, and measure them.

I replaced mine this past winter and got the same codes. Did you purchase Walker or Bosch O2 sensors? My CEL came on after several starts and the engine was good and warm. After about 5-8 starts the CEL went out and didn't come on again until 8-10 starts later. It has never come on when the engine was cold and never went off unless between starts. The gap has widened and the CEL hasn't come on in the last 30 starts. Here is a thread were others had similar experiences. O2 thread

If you get it figured out let us know.

It's not a walker or bosche..Here is the link from oxygen geek.com. I don't recommend these oxygen sensors. So stay away from these guys!!!Might as well buy the bosch ones from the dealership....I tried to contact oxygen geek.com but they haven't replied or returned any of my calls....it's a scam!!!

here is the link to their website: OXYGENGEEK.COM OXYGEN SENSOR DO NOT BUY!!!

I'll just put the old ones back and will try to return it....wish me luck..

will try to work on it this weekend. I got a new codes besides those four that I just listed. The new code is P0137 Oxygen Sensor After Catalytic Converter (Cylinders 1 - 3) - Signal Wire Short Circuit to Ground or Incorrect

hey thanks...someone suggested pull it out and turn it 180 degrees. Is that even possible? doesn't it only go one way to the connector???

Chanaged mine out last year, needed to run engine at various speeds and various intervals to accustom new sensors to engine and computer. This actually took a few weeks and was very frustrating, reset cel many times to finally achieve mating. Really no shortcut, just need to run engine in city and a little country driving. Eventually codes are reduced and finally go away.
