How to determine what factory options came with a specific 2004 Cayenn

Recommended Posts

I just bought my first Porsche (2004 Cayenne Turbo) as I have been a BMW man my entire life (last car was a 1988 BMW M6 which was a pretty amazing car for it's time, now a 2008 Honda Accord has more horsepower). My wife and I love the Porshce, it is a sophistecited beast with room for the new baby seat.

I got it with 41K miles and CPO status from Danbury Porsche (Weeks Auto Group). As it appears that Porsche's seem to be the ultimate "Chinesse menu" when it comes to options/packages, is there anyway to find out what factory options came with my specific car?

Thanks in advance - Steve

Become a Contributing Member, and then PM your VIN number to Loren. He will then send you a great report.

The service advisor at your local Porsche dealer can generate a complete "Vehicle information" report from your vin #. The report I got not only documents all the factory installed options but the serial numbers of components like the cd changer, dme unit, sat receiver, transfer box, ect.
