I,m getting a squealing noise from the right hand cooling fan.Its running ok but it sounds like the bearing is on its way out.Is this a common fault? How do you get access to change it - I,ve searched the forum but cant find any info on changing a fan motor. My car is a 1999 c4 cab tip.

Not too difficult.

Raise the side of the car with the bad fan and remove the front wheel.

Remove the wheel well liner on that side.

You should now have access to the fan mounting.
