I just purchased a full set of Bilstein PSS9's and full K&N airbox from Vivid. Went with the PSS9's as i didin't need the electronic feature and one click difference on the 10's. Besides the price was good for a what you guys call a solid update to my car...

I do have a question as to installation. Is there a post that anyone knows of that has comprehensive install directions for a 2000 Carrera 4? I've seen a ton for the C2. Also, do I need the spring compressor for the removal of the old springs/struts? If so, what spring compressor would you recommend? I've tried to do a search, but the search feature does not like the less than 2 letter (C4) search.

Great info...and thanks in advance for any info you all can provide!

I recently installed the PSS9's on my 2000 C4 Coupe 6spd. I didn't create a DIY write-up, but maybe I can help you.

I spent about 3 days which included performing a 'string' alignment; in the first night I had most of everything off the car. While I was there I also pulled the front diff and replaced both side seals, re-packed both CV joints on the right side (a real PITA!), and ended up installing new wheel bearings on both sides. Only 'special' tool was a huge 1" torque wrench to retighten the axle nuts, but I do have my own 1/2" air impact, hyd press, etc.

Do you have specific questions or?
