Recommended Posts

Does any no were I can get hold of a antenna adaptor to go from the standard porche fitting which is a very small fitting to a standard iso type normal euro type.

I think the porsche fitting is motorola ? I found loads in the USA on crutchfield but not found any on ebay in the Uk.

Try nexxia.co.uk

post-23680-1213405005_thumb.jpg2.75 EURO

Looked at that one but its the wrong type, 2006 porsche seem to have some thing called a FAKRA type fitting, either that or Hirschman on the back of the becker CDR24, I have found a few but just need to confirm which one is the correct one now then place an order.

Thanks anyways. mike

I picked up a male and female ISO-FAKRA adapter from a shop in the UK (was tricky to source in North America) to install an IPlug RDS unit for my 987 -

If you scroll down to the 3rd picture at this link you can see the male and female FAKRA adapters... http://www.revozport.com/iplug-rds.htm

I sourced the IPlug and FAKRA adapters from Auto Comfort in the UK for a better price than Revozport, and much more responsive - Revozport/IPlug has yet to respond to my request for a final price, and Auto Comfort's unit arrived a week after I ordered it...
