Ok, ive been looking for a spoiler for my Boxster and I found these pictures online..Any ideas where I can get one of these??? I have a 1998 boxster. All I found so far for boxsters are crappy spoilers..Why can't they make a super cool spoiler that will stand out like the one on the pictures????...Thanks

well... "cool" is a matter of personal taste. You'll need to look into the after-market for spoilers like that (Techart, Gambella possibly).

If you put one of those on you will certainly stand out. ^_^

Cool, is certainly a matter of personal taste. In my opinion, those spoilers are sort of ricey to put on a German car.

Just make sure your prepared to drill a few holes through your trunk, and post some picks when your done.

You mean like this? _MG_2227.jpg

Sorry for the small image. It's a track car and I had to drill holes in the trunk. I don't like the lift in turn 8 at Willow Springs at 120 mph.

Ok, perhaps I exaggerated a little bit....I just can't seem to find spoilers for boxster similar to 996 Turbo and 996 GT2, and the 987.. :(

The silver Boxster you posted a picture of has a Kokeln rear deck lid and spoiler installed. Attached are a couple more pictures of this setup - including a couple other shots of the specific car you posted - a Boxster GT3 RS  .... whatever that is.

I've got the Kokeln ram air ducts and can attest that their quality is top notch, but then you'll pay for it too. I've never seen this rear deck/wing though, so your mileage may vary....

Ok, I called them today and here is the price quote I was given: BOXSTER DECK LID IS FOR $1091.38 AND THE WING ITSELF IS $1,355.05...WOW!!! I WILL BE SPENDING 2,500.00 INCLUDING SHIPPING... :king:

Wow, that sure ain't cheap!!! You may just want to look into a bolt-on wing like "Heyjae". I'm sure that would be like 20% of the price of the Kokeln pieces.

my plan... and this will be removed for street use... Im more for function than coolness... is to use the kolken rear deck in fiberglass, fab my own supports, and get the predator wing from GT racing (http://www.gt-racing.com/) it is adjustable for attack angle...

Welcome to the forum. In regards to the choice of spoilers.... each to his own. It's your car and if you're happy with it that's all that matters.

I'll stick with mine, no problems at 120 mph at Infineon and it isn't an instant hit with every law enforcement on the road. To each their own.
