Ran my durametric software this morning and am getting the following:

Fault Code 33

Interior Sensor faulty

Status: Not present

Frequency counter: 1

Fault Code 60

Central Locking Limit Position

Lock Not Reached

Status: Not Present

Frequency Counter: 3

Not exactly sure what this means... I can't seem to "clear" these codes (the option is blocked out) These are the only fault codes currently in the system.

Glad to read you got your new toy!

this screen shot will answer your one question, looks like I'll want to find a PST 2, now I have a reason to joing PCA and bump into some people at Mid Ohio!

I'm going to go to my car and pull codes again as I have the #33 too.

I run an older version of Durametric (3.x.x) and cannot clear these either. Maybe some else can elaborate on if alarm codes can be cleared or the item simply must be fixed first.

Anyways, I'll pulled my Durametric screenshots as I have the same (33) as you. I believe Lauren speculated some time ago that this is the infered sensors (rear view mirror) for motion control failing and it's fairly common. FYI that my system (alarm) still works fine (doors and trucks) with no error beep. I believe I tried to trigger the motion last summer (testing) and could not to support the theory.

I do not know of the other two codes, I'm sure Loren can shed some light. That issue about the local sounds as if there is a mechanical issue with the lock or the sensor is thinking there is a mechanical failure and thus telling the system the lock cannot work. Maybe the error codes tells of the location but I would check the trunks (and glove box if you have one) if the doors seem to be operating as expected.

Note my interesting pill failure code, sounds scary but car starts fine!

Don't forget the radio. There is a brown wire that clips onto the DIN cage. If you have changed your headend or been messing around in that area you may have pulled it loose.

I have a 99 Boxster I ran the Durametric scan on my car. I clicked on the alarm tab and found four faults. My key and remote seam to work alright. Anyone have any idea what code 23 W lead is? I have code 42 Wrong Key or Transponder, I shouldn't be able to even start the car if I have the wrong Key or Transponder. My 33 code says Interior sensor faulty. and Code 60 Centeral Locking limit position. I didn't see any sort of summary page on the Durametric web page. Anyone seen a list?

Thanks for any info

Bill
