Has anyone done an oil change on a 2008 Cayenne S? I was ordering a filter from Sunset today, and it seems they said that there in now only 1 oil drain plug and the washer is now the same as the 996. Can anyone verify?

That is correct. There is now one drain plug and it is on the rear side of the sump.

Thanks Loren. But the engine in your picture is a 6 cylinder. I have a 08 CS. Is the oil drain location the same?

Sorry, my bad - I grabbed the wrong image the first time.

It has now been corrected.

Thanks Loren. I am assuming the plug is #14 right?

Yes, and the sealing ring is 15.

Do you need the part numbers?
