Everyone always says the C4S is a Turbo, but without the turbos.

However, doesn't the Turbo use the older 964 engine block (not the same one as the C4S)?

Correct. The C4S uses the sames M96 engine that the Boxster and Carrera use.

Thanks Loren!

A little bit off (my own) topic... but how in the world can the C4S have performance numbers close to the standard C2 with the same engine, same gearing, and more weight?! It should be a considerable dog, I would think.

Weight|Power | bhp/kg | Compared to C2 320bhp

C2 -- 1370kg -- 320bhp -- 0.2336 -- 100.00%

C4S -- 1495kg -- 320bhp -- 0.2140 -- 91.64%

They still pretty close - the C2 is not a light car either...

Malakas,

nothing to do with engine block, but your car looks very cool - haven't seen the orient red before..nice.

Thanks. I was inspired by the Lambo rosso-vik

I had been looking at the typical black and silver cars, but then stumbled on the Orient Red. Loved it at first sight!
