What kind of exhausts do you guys have?

PSE. I've had it on my last 2 Carreras, and love it. Get only mufflers installed (loud all the time).

I had the Fabspeed exhaust bypass pipe. It was really really loud and I liked it a lot but it was setting my other car's alarm so I got rid of it.

This is probably one of the most questions asked. But hell.....

I love my fabspeed. IMHO it sounds much nicer and deeper than the PSE. I especially like the Ferrari sounding raw you get when you give it bifters at 6000 rpm.

PSE here as well. :) It's about $1500.00 and a fairly easy DIY if you don't do the electronics. Most find they don't want them. If you shift around 3500 rpms it's not too loud.

i have the fabspeed exhaust...it has a very nice note to it... deep and aggressive... yet it wont make you deaf over the longer trips on the highway.

what do they do with a BMF? Is it hollowed out?

not really sure what they have done, they said it was "house special" and didn't want to reveale it.

but they have definately opened it and modified it from inside, sounds great and the sound got even better now with the help of CDA.

I have the PSE with the switch installed. Sounds super cool and the wife woun´t notice when you are late :-)

I just put GHL mufflers on my 99. They were running a deal for Rennlist members ($20) for $679. Great price, great sound...

installed? If yes, then a good deal. If not, then close. Like everybody said, you can get it for 1500 or less if you do the shopping. But......sometimes the extra $100 is well spent to "appease" the dealer.

$2K??? Good lord that is pricey for a DIY. You CAN get it for 1500 or less (Sunset, Suncoast, B-Wine, etc.). What do you mean no shipping charge from Germany?

BTW, did the dealer change the price? You originally stated 1600...now $2K?

no they sell it for 2k and they sold it to me for 1600. And it is being shipped from Germany without any shipping charges..
