Hi all,

Looking for a little help here.

I installed my GT2 / Tequipment roll bar today and it went smooth. Removed both front seats, removed the rear seats and panels, trimed the plastic piece as need, got the bar installed and put the seats back in.

Since, two issues have come up...

First, the Air Bag light came on straight away. I hooked up my Durametric and it said it was due to not reading the seat belts so I cleared the codes and it has not returned. I suspect it is due to the fact that the seats were removed/disconnected that caused this to come up.

Second, the Volt Gauge is dead flat. Again I hooked up Durametric and the car is charging just fine when reading it direct. I began to suspect that perhaps a wire may have been pinched/cut, but I made sure that none of the wiring was cut during the installation and there is no wiring that runs where the bar is bolted so I'm doubting this idea. It is also not an easy thing to check as I'd have to remove everything to do so and I'm not about to do that on a whim of "well what the heck lets look".

Any ideas of where I should start looking to determine why the Volt Gauge is not reading anymore?

PS All other instruments are working perfectly and its a 2001 996 C2

Cheers
