Just had 40K Km major service. Including alignment/tracking adjustments, total bill incl Tax came to €900 or £720 or $1,440. (at today's exchange rates).

Does this sound reasonable? Car was washed and ready by 4pm having been dropped off at 9.30am.

If service had been done 3 months ago, €900 would have equated to £616 and $1,232. That's the credit crunch/world economy for you!!

Well, i paid €700 for my 40.000km about 6 months ago but that did not include any alignment on the car. What they did was to change oil & air filters (engine and passenger), oil, spark plugs and do all the necessary checks on the car.
