I noticed that all the 12V sockets in the cayennes are power on even without engine running.....

is there any way that I can rewire it so it is off when I switch off the engine?

Thanks!

Think about it before you do it. You won't be able to use a battery tender/trickle charger in a dead socket.

Before I hardwired my radar detector to a switched power source I pulled the plug out just enuf to disconnect it.

I also installed a dash switch for my garage door opener and wired it to an unswitched circuit so I could open the door with out the ignition on. Wife's X5 has garage door opener wired to switched circuit. So if you forget to open the door from the house switch you have to start the engine and let some CO into the area.
