Hey just got a super clean 2004 Cayenne Turbo .. Well while pulling my boat (5000lbs) this weekend in Phoenix (100f)I was experiencing a rise in Temp while pulling down the road .. A couple of things..

1- I bought the Cayenne Turbo to pull more than my old VW Touareg V8 ..

2. Does it have a "True" Water Temp Gauge? I know the VW had a Gauge that always tell you that the temp is 180f .. If so am I just being worry wort?

3. What is the towing capacity of the Cayenne Turbo, I know the Touareg V8 was 9000lb

Thanks for any help.. I was seeing 220f-ish on the gauge ... and 200 on the Oil temp.

Thanks

Trailer operation Canada/USA

Maximum gross weight 6790 lbs. (3080 kg)

Maximum axle load, front/rear axle 3285/3968 lbs. (1490/1800 kg)

176 to 212 is considered normal.

Oil temp is okay as long is it is not in the red.

There were a couple of cooling issue TSBs issued. I suggest you ask your dealer to see if they were performed on your car.
