Loren's 3rd radiator installation lists 4 additional Screw Type Hose Clamps are required. The part number in the instruction are 999 512 551 00.

My dealer couldn't pull up the clamp using the part number. Instead, they had 999-512-499-00. Based on the diagram, it seemed to be the most widely used screw clamp. Will this work instead of 999 512 551 00? If not, could someone give me the size of the 999 512 551 00 clamp so I can just get one that works from the hardware store?

Thanks,

David

Where is your dealer? 999 512 551 00 still shows as a valid part on my April 2004 part list. It is 36 x 12 mm.

999 512 499 00 is 40 x 12 mm so it will likely work too. You will just have more overlap.

My dealer is Advantage in Houston, TX. The parts guy brought up the diagram on the computer and we looked at the listed parts and found 499 as the most widely used clamp.

Thanks for the help,

David
