Cleaning Throttle body?

Hi guys,

I own a 2000 986 2.7 boxster

I'm experiencing a problem with engine reving up and down to about 100-rpm when engine is warm and I pull up at lights etc. Seems to have appeared after I changed the battery, I've followed the intstruction for resetting the throttle, but problem persists Having read through the forums, posible faults could be MAF or dirty throttle body. I intend doing thee tasks myself, found instruction on how to clean the Maf sensor, but cannot find instruction on cleaning the throttle body, anybody point me in the direction of help?

Thanks Tool Pants, that link was just what I needed. Job done today and difference is noticeable - smoother idle and seems to be more pick up under acceleration.

Wife's hairdryer was used to warm up the air duct tube, it certainly eases the task of slipping it onto the throttle body !

This was the first time I'd ventured into the engine compartment, and has eased some of the fears I had, looking forward to doing some more maintenance myself.
