I am looking to replace my existing titanium/silver coloured "Boxster" badge off the boot with a Chrome version. Yeh my wife says what for aswell !

Anyway, any guides on how to get the old one off and suggestions of where to get a new Chrome version from?

check with sunset porsche in oregon or suncoast porsche in florida

the 2004 boxster s 550 special edition had a chrome logo

take off the badge using dental floss

leave the car in the sun or use a blow dryer to loosen the adhesive

you can use the adhesive remnants to line up the new badge or you can mark off the old location with tape and clean the area more thoroughly and re-align

aloha

Easy to remove - I use a hair dryer to loosen the glue and pull gently. You can remove the residue with WD-40 and wax it when clean. You can get the Chrome emblem from Hendricks Porsche (4porscheparts.com) for the best price...I shopped them all when I replaced mine with the Black emblem.
