I have an interesting (but mostly annoying) problem that I hope someone can help me with. A few seconds after I lock the car (Boxster -98) the interior lights come on again only to dim out again after about 10-20 seconds. This means that my alarm goes off as it is wired to the interior lights. The alarm system is a Carguard T70C and not the original Porsche alarm. I have checked with my Durametric cable without finding anything to explain this odd behaviour. It doesn´t happen every time but more often than not. Any ideas? Anyone?

Thankful for any input I can get.

/Mathias

Disable the carguard and try again if you cant find fault codes.

I have tried to remove the Carguard alarm but the same problem occurs (even if the alarm obviously does not go off). I can not find any other fault codes either.
