i find some oil spots under the car between de gearbox and the engine ( i think )!!! what can it be ? please guy help me with some answers !!!

i hope that is not the gearbox or something serious, the car is a tiptronic and 41.321Km

Leaking seal behind the torque converter of the Mercedes-Benz tiptronic is most common. The turbo engine gives no RMS problem. Remove both rubber plugs between the tip. and the engine ( bottom side ) and go with your finger in the hole, in the direction of the tip. and you can feel the oil in the converter case.

The seal is not showed ( behind the torque converter ) If it is the seal, remove the engine and the transmission as a unit out of the car and separate, remove the torque converter and change the seal. The seal cost is just a couple of €, the oil a little bit more and the labor a lot more.

i went to the "STEALERship" and they said that they can't order this parts and i need to buy the gearbox !!! where can i buy this parts ( seals ) ??? can anyoane help me please ?

and they said that they don't have the program for reparing this problem.

No part number for those items in my (April 2008) list either.

Your dealer/OPC should email/fax/call Porsche and ask about availability. Sometimes the parts are on request only.

Another option would be to visit your friendly Mercedes dealer and see if they can match the parts (Mercedes makes the Tip for Porsche).

Are you sure that the gearbox is leaking at the rear side? This is uncommon. Arrow 2 is a paper seal ( special paper ) that you can create by your self if not available, some older mechanics and classic car enthusiast can do that easily. Arrow 1 are snap rings not seals.

i know that i can make this seal but porsche romania will not make this and they don't what to repair it ONLY change the gearbox !!! the snap ring i know that are not seals but they don't have code number and i can not order them !

You might try vertexauto.com. They have rebuilt transmissions so I would assume parts. I am in a similar situation in that I was told if the torque converter seal goes, the input shaft bearing is possibly siezed which would require a new transmission. I will find out today.
