indicator fuse?

hi guys, first post so be nice :P

i cant seem to find the front indicator fuse on my 987!!! only states rear fuses in the little book.

i blew the fuse while changing to HID. please help me find it?

Indicators front are a part of the front control box, i don't no what is happen but take a look to Row 6 Fuse 3.

thanks, but there is no row 6, also just checked the control box fuse and its intact!

its only stopped working since iv installed the hid set!

I mean ROW C instead of 6, check if all the other systems in the car will work and rapport back. You can check all the fuses meanwhile.

its not c3, and i have pulled most fuses out randomly to check!

if its not a fuse and the bulb is fine what could it be? the ballast not making it work?

i have now pulled all fuses out and the psm failure light comes on now! please help all fuses are fine!

987 and 997 use complete different systems as 986 and 996 for lights front and rear, radiator fans, brake lights etc. All this stuff comes via control boxes, most of the interventions in the electric systems are no longer DIY and you need PIWIS also to change settings, transform the car as it was and try again. I hope for you that all the control boxes are still intact.

so i have to go to a dealer then?

PSM will go out while driving, the system have got a power fail, fault code stay in the memory. Is the car already in the original condition? All systems OK? You can visit the dealer to clear the fault codes or you can buy a diagnostic tool to do it yourself.

yes psm has gone out, and thanks for your help by the way! the indicator still doesnt work on the front only! im really confused that the bulb and fuses are ok though!!

Assume you have checked the bulb. Seems unusual if only one indicator is not working. It could be that the earth has been disturbed in fitting the HID kit. Probably best to take the headlight out , open it up and check the seating of the indicator bulb , the connections on the rear of the headlight and the wiring inside the headlight. Does the side repeater still work on the front bumper ? The High beam and indicator share the same power feed. The indicator operates by the control unit switching the return side of the circuit to ground (earth). The side repeater and the main headlamp bulb use the same switching circuit so if the side repeater is working but the main headlamp isnt its something local to the headlamp or you have lost the power to the high beam / indicator circuit.

wires are fine, bulb is intact. not blown. the lights come on and high beam is ok. also the bumber signal works.

i will have another look tonight
