I need to replace my rotors, has anyone had any experience removing the red brake calipers. I looks like there is nort much flex in the brake line.

You are right, the best is to remove the pads first and than the bolt that hold the rotor to the hub, tap with a hammer so that the rotor come free of the hub, remove both caliper bolts and lift the caliper with your left hand a little up while you remove the rotor with your right hand. Install in reverse order.
