Hey Guys,

I've had puppy love for a Porsche since the mid 70's when our neighbor purchased a 914. Settling for a variety of used zx's in the 80's I had basically given up and been driving 3/4 ton 4x4 for years but,,,,, I just got my first Porsche this past Tuesday, an 06 Cayman S.

Here's the stats;

I'm waiting on Porsche to call when the complete exhaust system comes in along with a short-shifter and a performance module.

Do you know how much fun this is? I'm sure you do!

Anyhow, this newbie can't get enough of these threads so keep 'em coming.

Similar story with me - I wanted a Porsche since about the time I started driving - only took about 35 years in my case, to finally realize that dream. I bought a used 06 Cayman S also.

You should also check out www.caymanclub.net (if you haven't already) and introduce yourself there - for Cayman owners it's the most informative (and entertaining) web site on the internet.

She came with a cat-back but she's in Park Place Porsche as we speak getting a full exhaust including headers, DME (sp?) and short shifter. I can' wait to see what she has to offer when I get her back.
