Could somebody tell me whetehr it is difficult to do this DIY. Schould not be so difficult I would think. But looking at the TSB it looks difficult. Are there people that have done this?

Thanks, frank

The exhaust itself is not difficult at all. Running the wiring is probably time consuming.

Wire a switch from fuse box to relay in engine compartment, bypassing the DME and you will have direct on/off without the auto cutoff at certain revs.

If I don't need the switch I can also buy an exhaust system from Ebay (with a tube welded in between the inlet and outlet.

Not sure what the oppinions are about these exhaust. Would like to keep it original, but the diffence is >1400$'s so I will give it a second thought.

Thanks, frank

If you don't need a switch why bother with PSE..,its advantage is the ability to turn it off/on. If you don't need that, any after market will do for less money.!

I had OEM sport exhaust system installed (through dealer at the time of purchase). I love it!!! I use the switch often as I live in a rather quiet suburb (I also love feeling the car come alive after turning it on!).

I don't regret going with OEM vs. aftermarket at all. I strongly suggest you hearing and driving with this exhaust system before making decision.

Just my two cents....
