Rebuilt eng from porsche how to check for?

Is there anyway to verify if an engine is rebuilt from porsche via visual, eng #'s etc, if no paperwork is present.

A Porsche rebuilt engine part number alway (as least all that I have seen) end in _X (i.e. BX or DX , etc.).

The engine number stamped on the crankcase/oil pan admit the characters AT which means AusTausch = Exchange. For example 96/xATxxxxxx.
