Anyone know if the 911 C4S can be taken onto a track in stock form without a bolt in roll bar?

thanks,

John

If you are talking about a PCA DE event, the answer is yes.

Hi,

There are a lot of clubs that will let you take a 997 4s onto a track without a roll bar. If you race the car against others, then you will need a rollbar.

Thanks for the info guys.

John

I just wondered about this - I used to race my 1976 911S targa at POC events (a long time ago). Does anyone know if POC or PCA rules allow a targa to run w/o roll bars??

I've got a Targa (glass roof) and was assuming that it would qualify for track use. I know that cabriolets traditionally have to have roll bars and was wondering if a targa would too.
