Loren could you help! I tried to search the board, but cant find any info on how to check the wheel bearings on a 2002 996 targa? Is there any DIY that you can give me the link. My dealer wants $350 to just look at it, I have checked every bold , front suspension, wheels, brakes and everything seems to be find.

This grinding noise only occurs when turning left and right and giving medium to hard throttle. So I am guessing that it is a wheel bearing. I also wanted to know how long the stock 996 suspension last in terms of milelage. And would it be safe to tryand replace the wheel bearings your self? Thanks
