I resently install some Fabspeed Mufflers on MY01 Cab (US) and have not heard the sound of them yet. I removed the old muffler and ran the car for a while, as long as my ears could handle it. This put out a lot of code like misfire and o2 sensor, but it was cool. Then installed the muffler, factor cats and one new cat o2 sensor. Now the car will not turn over at all. I have read numerious posting about possible causes and have tried, replace ignition switch (from Audi), bypassed clutch switch (and check voltage is 0 when bypassed), check ground to engine, replace battery and connected Durametric tool (only code is Alarm fault code 25.. I assume from disconnecting the battery) The DME response to the Durametric tool so I assume it is ok.

Sorry, also check ignition fuse, its good.

Any help on this would be greatly.

Ok - I tried to pop the clutch to start and got nothing. I don't smell any gas or hear the fuel pump so, to me, it seems it must be a relay or the ignition switch. Is there any way to test to see if the ignition switch is working. Maybe I connected it wrong or got a faulty replacement.

Pour 15L fuel in your tank, without reading the gauge, and trey again if you have changed only the mufflers. Easey, cheap and regularly successful.
