If they are anything like the standard ones it's fairly easy. Unclip the mirror glass, disconnect the heater wires, and there are 3 torx screws which hold the cover onto the mirror frame. Once you get these out it lifts off - watch you don't lose the rubber seal strip underneath.

Thanks for your help Richard. I presume the mirror glass just needs a tug or did you lever them out with a srewdriver?

On Rennlist, search for shop manual/repair manual. You'll find a link to said manuals. I have it on my home PC, but not here at the office.

You just need to carefully lever it out with something that won't damage the glass or the cover. You can almost do it with your fingers, but not quite. Once it started to move it popped off relatively easily.

I fitted the wing mirrors with no problems. Thanks for your help. I was up at the garage getting the rear spoiler when its sister car turned up....
