Loren, can you ID the part number for the control unit which is mounted in the RHS rear compartment of the Cayenne. I think its connects to the CAN bus to let the systems know a trailer is present.

Thanks

Mike

955 618 040 02 Trailer Coupling Control Unit

It has been changed twice (00 and 01). This is the latest number but I don't know the differences.

Loren,

What do i need if I buy a Factory tow hitch from another Cayenne S?

Tow hitch prep only means , prepped for mounting? I'm askinig because I'm buying one of the rennlist members hitch that's being removed, so I can figure out what I need to order or what he could removed.

thanks,,Alex

Hi

Does anyone know if the tow bar and control unit from a gen 1 cayenne (2003) will fit and work with a gen 2 cayenne.

I am looking to upgrade my 2003 to a 2008 but the 2008 doesn't have a tow bar which I really need.

Can I take the one off my 2003 and fit it to the 2008?

Thanks

DS
