Seat Back Centers

I have done a search and could not come up with anything on removing the seat back centers. I saw a sketch elswhere but could not see how they came out. Has anyone out there ever done it and if so could you be so kind as to tell me how. I want to add a piece of foam behind there so that my back will fit in the seat better. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. Ed

Adding a piece of foam behind the back center is not possible, they have a plastic back side which is fit just in the seat back. Perhaps between the leather/textile trim and the plastic back side? Take the top of the center and pull upwards while pulling in the direction of the steering wheel, the fixation hooks are fragile, they are breakable as glass.

It is instructions for installing heated seat in a boxster, I used it for my 996. Lots of pictures, diagrams instructions, etc. It won't be hard to add some foan behind the center section. There is a company that make an inflatable bladder to serve as a lumber support. I know I have seen it but don't remember where.

The centre pad has a hook at the top. Pull the centre section upwards to release it and it will fall forward.
