hi all,

first, this is an awesome site.

i've just gotten my '99 c2 cab. I'm thinking about purchasing a body kit from a company called jacquemond.com has anyone heard of this company? is it a reputable company?

2nd question, what is the safest way to order parts from over sea?

thanks a million in advance.

French company that advertises in UK magazines and ebay. Never personally used them but similarly not heard of any bad press.

Hi Fishboi,

My own 99 convertible (996) is currently being built as we speak (March 08). I'm hoping Olivier Jacquemond will have it completed for me by April 08. Reply to me if you want some more info, pics etc. I paid for my kit via PayPal in two parts (50/50). Just remember that the fitting of the kit can cost £10K because its not a quick slap on job, it takes time to heat, mould and fix. I'm looking forward to collecting it in April. Olivier has been very professional, and a really nice guy, you have nothing to worry about.

Thanks.

Just thought I would update anyone who is interested. My 996 cab to 997 conversion by Jacquemond has now been completed, I'm collecting it from Lyon this weekend. You can see a pic of the converstion here; http://jacquemond.com/english.htm. Looking forward to the next part of my conversion (updating the interior and ICE......) If anyone has some suggestions for a decent touch screen head unit and replacement speakers all round i'd appreciate it. Thanks.
