Where is the best place to buy an oil filter removal tool? I saw in Loren's oil change DIY it was $7-$22 at the dealer. Looking around on the net they are about $36 bucks.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

If you want a plastic one instead of metal (yes, it seems everyone has raised the price on these) then just find one with 14 flutes and 74 mm diameter.

Any auto parts store has them...for about $5. 74mm/14 flute

I know that you are in Calgary, but what autoparts store had them? (Canadian Tire, Lordco...)

I am looking for one as well.

I went to the dealer and they are asking $63.00 this is in the bay area livermore ca. I went on ebay and got one for $48.00 including shipping. It will cost me more if I keep on looking so just went and bought/bid on it on ebay.

Never done an oil change on this car so no idea if theres an alternative tool. If I do find out I will post it.
