Hi,

I have a 2004 PSE on the way to me as we speak and I am considering installing it myself, if this proves to be possible. I enjoy doing this kind of stuff, but if it is a very technical task, then I am happy to leave it to the professionals. So where can I look to find some instructions on removing the stock muffler? Can anyone rate this task compared to say a B&M install?

Thanks.

I have the instructions for the original (pre 2003) sport exhaust. I have not yet seen instructions for the new style. Send me an email if you want it. Jeff

i did mine in a day.....had to figure how to do the wiring from scratch......when all was done.....ended up just leaving the valve open.....without the control...if you just want to do it for looks....can probably bypass the wiring part and just clamp everything on.....

the tech illustration is in the tsb section....

good luck

I have just bought a set of PSE off eBay for my Year 98 Boxster. No idea how to DIY it, could anyone help on the instruction?

Many thanks

Alan

If the sport exhaust came off a 3.2 or 2.7 you will need the adapter kit for the 2.5.

The mounting points on a 2.5 muffler are different than the 2.7/3.2.

If it is used and came off a 2.5 then it should have the adapter unless just the muffler itself was sold.

You first need to tell or show us what you bought and what came with it unless it is just the muffler.

Hi TP

Thanks for your reply.

I bought the Brand New set PSE with 2.5L fitting kit.

It should come with everything I need, we have mount the muffler on the car, but we dont have any idea how to do those wiring and valve control.

Is there any one fitted the PSE on 2.5L before?

Thanks

Alan
