Hi

I have a loose cable with a loop at the end in my engine department. It looks like it's hooked to the lock. I would think it's the releasing mechanism. But I can still get the hood up by pulling the trigger from inside. This time I have to almost pull it up with my nails. Where does the loop hookup?

Here's a picture of the cable?

Thanks

Kristian

I have about two feet of loose cable that I have to fold so it wont get in away. I just can't see why it would be there if there is no purpose for it ? :(

Kristian

The loop doesn't hook anywhere.

That is the rear lid release - if it is open then it is already released.
