I need to top up my steering fluid and when I asked for some Pentosin CHF 202 at my local import shop, he gave me a bottle of VW / Audi factory fluid and said it was the same. The part number is G 004 000 M2. I have seen on other posts that part number 002 000 is the same as Pentosin but never seen this stuff. Is it Ok to use?

I seem to recall the VW/Audi link in this department. Big thread somewhere on one of these forums about color of the caps and what they mean, But I don’t think it’s any cheaper. Swepco 715 is a arguably valid replacement at about half the price.
