I have been trying to find shortcuts but I have come to the painful conclusion that I have to remove the entire cab assembly to reach the upper mounts for the rear shocks and springs.

Is there really no easier way to do this? Seems like such a large operation for such a basic thing as changing shocks :help:

not sure what you mean by entire cab assembly...just start to close the cab roof and stop it before it latches. Then remove the cables on both sides (they just pop off) then you can lift the back part up and out of the way. Remove the liner and you are set to go.
