The folks at Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) have sent me a note saying that they have a limited quantities of factory repairs manuals on sale.

That would be a 986 Boxster only.

To my knowledge Porsche has never produced a printed manual for the 987 or 997 series cars - only electronic versions.

Me too. It helped with the PSE and HPA upgrades I just did - plus the binders look cool in the garage!

Looks like you signed up for a copy of the old pre 2000 non updated set on rennlist ( the lemming board). If you want the GT3 covered and other service material let me know with a PM or email.

Guys, I bought the 986 manual last time on sale. Great work to have in the garage when a picture is worth a thousand words, and there are words to back them up.

Yeah the Bentley manual is beside my computer for easy stuff and codes or wiring diagrams, but the factory manual is there for the tough stuff and will convey when I sell my historic original 986S in 25 or so years.

Highly recommended. Especially for 944s that are not getting any younger.
