I'm loathed to pay my OPC £220 ($400) for a pair of stainless door sill guards, and somewhere (I'm pretty certain on this forum / garage section) I saw some pics of a door sill guard with Porsche crests and model designation

I can't remember whether this was on a 911 or Boxster, but was seal grey from recollection, and had one crest. Whoever's it was, was also selling them, albeit without the crest

Any ideas ??

Here is another set. Personally, I like these ones best because they are brushed stainless steel and have a very nice Porsche crest on them. They're rather understated but nice.

This same "store" also sells a version with "Boxster" in the proper script on them.

I bought a set of these off EBay and they look very nice on the car. They have a few different versions available and they are nice and sturdy. $75 bucks is better than $400!

Well since someone revived this old thread and I posted about some door sills I was thinking about buying and did eventually buy, I should post a follow up. These are the stainless steel ones found on eBay and sold by a fella named Harvey Peck out of Mechanicsville, Virginia. Quality is excellent and the price is very good at $65-$75 a pair. These are the crested ones and the crest is a good quality, albeit small, replica of the hood crest.

Thanks guys, got sorted at a Porsche meet two weeks go. Second hand set for $36 (£20 GBP). They have three small scratches on them, two from me !!

I do like those crested ones though, maybe when mine get a few more marks on them.
