Thanks for your welcome. I realize that I posted in the wrong forum because mine is a 986 not a 987. Anyway we're all "brothers in cars".

This car that I just bought was my associate's (we are both eye doctors). The day he got it, new, I told him "I'll buy it from you the day you decide to sell it" That day was 3 days ago. Now I'm the proud owner of a Carrara white 2002 Boxster with hard top that makes the heads turn when drives on my city streets.

My previous car was a E420 Mercedes which is a great car: smooth and powerful, now my Porsche is crisp and agile. I'll need some time for the transition, but when I see the crest on the steering wheel I know this is my kind of car.
