NEED HELP...brake pedal SOLID

Recommended Posts

so... for awhile now...everytime i went through a carwash (non touch) my brake pedal became supper hard.. and alot of brake pedal pressure is required to stop the car... this would usually go away instantly

today... this happened while driving in the car...BUT it hasnt gone away.

it feels like i have NO VACUUM BOOST. BUT the idle is steady.

the car is 1999 C2 with ~90,000 km

i also just did the brakes (all rotors and pads) about 500km ago...but it has been fine until today

any help would be great...thank

Rod

oddly enough...when i drove the car home..not even 3hours later... problem gone!! so annoying.

it has to be water in the booster... it totally feels like vapour lock. and it must be evaporating off with the heat from the car. go figure!

i thought these cars where engineered by germans...not italians!
