Hi Everyone,

does anyone no of a distributor or manufacturer of Carbon fiber products.

I am interested in purchasing a carbon fiber air intake box for my 987 Boxster.

I have looked all over the net without any luck ,hope someone has an idea where I can find such a product or knows of a company that will build one.

You could trying calling Werks Composites (www.werksone.com) a spin off from champion motorsports.

They do make carbon fiber boxes for 997s but they may also have an airbox for the 987.

Thanks for your help as I tried them as well and they don't have one for a boxster.

The airbox in carbon fiber would be lighter than the original and it looks good when I am working on my Boxster.

Over time a little by little I plan on changing a few things to lighten up the car. when you change the exhaust it lighten up as well, so everything I will put on thats carbon fiber aftermarket will help. they are always coming out with new products. Most of all I know you can't see it but I know its there. I also will add the hardtop from Zientop when it is available over the next year. I love the Cayman look but love my convertable so the best of two worlds. plus I cant afford both.

Secuuda, the batteries are being sold by www.sunsetporsche.com. They have a few in CF.
