PSM / Air suspension failure

I have a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S, 4100kms.

Went to use the car the other day and 2 warnings spring up

1. PSM failure

2. Air suspension failure.

I used a durametric cable to plug in to my computer and try and diagnose /clear the error.

The only error read was "code 1435 Brake Sensor Failure"

Clearing the error resulted in it coming straight back.

The car is in warranty, but the dealer is miles away, and can't get round to the problem for 3-4 weeks.

Does anyone have advice as to where to troubleshoot ?

Under normal conditions you must have at least 2 fault codes, 1 in PSM and 1 in AIR SUSP. perhaps the durametric is not up to date, anyway if you got a brake sensor failure and the car is in warranty go to your dealer, because the sensor is build in the hydraulic group and this is not a DIY job.

Well, we're now at a massive 15000kms, and this problem has returned. PSM failure, Air suspension failure, and the Durametric indicates 1435 brake sensor failure.

The car is out of warranty, the [really poor] dealer is 2 hours away, does anyone have a source where I can purchase a workshop manual ??

I downloaded a workshop manual from whichmanuals.co.uk

I now have the procedure to troubleshoot the brake pressure sensor.

Does anyone have a part number for this sensor, it's attached to the brake booster ???

955.355.305.00 Pressure sensor -- US MSRP $80.95

Thanks Loren. I'm going to have a go at fixing this issue myself, now that I have the procedure from the manual and the part number.
