Hi

I am looking for a set of track day wheels for my 2005 Boxster S. I have checked the TSBs but I am still a little confused about this!

The car presently has Porsche Carrera Techno 19" wheels on it at the moment. They are:

Front: J8 x 19 ET57

Rear: J9.5 x 19 ET46

they look like this:

I have found some Porsche Turbo II alloy wheels on eBay with the following offsets:

Fronts are 8.5" X 18" with an ET52 offset

Rears are 10" X 18" with an ET47 offset

They look like this:

They are a bit wider and the rear offset seems to only be 1mm different - which I doubt will make much difference.

Am I right in thinking I will need a 5mm spacer for the fronts?

The TSB shows that a 19" wheel will fit with these widths.

Please can someone help me?

Thanks

Don't know about fitment. The front one are going to extend outside 11mm more than the original. You can check wheel sizes/offset and their effect at http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
