HELP i have water in my car!

Recommended Posts

ok..here goes, i discovered TONS of water in the car on the passenger side....

so..i already removed the carpet...dried it out... and toady, i started looking for the leak....

well, i sprayed some water at the firewall (battery compartment) and didnt see any leaks.....

BUT at the same time, i ran the car with the A/C on...

after about 10min of running... i see a trickle of water...coming from the sound proofing foam (carpet). this is the multicolor insulation that is right up against the wall.

i peel it back a bit and it is soaked!! and tons of water (about 20-30mL) pissed out from there.

so... what is it, what do i do..how do i fix it!!

i wanted to get the car out on the road asap... but not like this!!

any help appreciated...

PS..i donated my money last night...I LOVE WHAT THIS site has done for me, i have fixed a lot of stuff already!

ITS NOT THE AC..YAY... because that looks like a b$tch to get out!!

its coming from the battery area... the drains looked bad so i tried to unplug them........well, they are not there anymore!

i sprayed water again...and its seems to be no more water... BUT, this is a bandaid, as i havent found the actual spot where the water is coming in... any help here still would be good.

thanks

Rod
