This is the eighth Porsche I've owned and it is the first time I have had difficulty really figuring out the options on one of these cars. The car is US spec. The information I've received from the dealer and PCNA is not very helpful. Can anyone tell me how to identify the options, as delivered, on VIN WP0CB2944S675381? I can read the tag beneath the front lid but that has not really been very helpful. Thanks, in advance.

If you can read the option numbers then look here.

Also you are missing one digit - all late model VINs are 17 digit.

If it is a US car then PCNA can do a Certificate of Authenticity for you - I think they charge about $100 for that.

Thanks Loren, you're correct. I read the VIN off the useless Certificate of Authenticity when I posed my question. Buying the Certificate of Authenticity was a waste of money. The correct VIN is WP0CB29944S675381. The Certificate of Authenticity is missing a 9 in the sequence.

I've looked at the codes on the sticker and used the "lookup" and some of the listings do not make sense. That's why I'm asking for, perhaps, some better information. For instance, the sticker indicates a code for X50. But, the car was not sold to me as an X50. And, the codes indicate that I should have leather surrounding the ignition key. There are a few others that just make me wonder if there isn't a better source for the information. The VIN on the sticker matches the car so I've ruled out the hood being changed out as a result of damage.

I just completed my contribution. I'd appreciate any additional help you can provide.
