Front Wheel Housing Liner

Hello all,

After having a great day watching the Petite LeMans at Road Atlanta I had an unfortunate incident.

I unfortunately hit a "road gator" (retread truck tire) after it was hit by another

car ahead of me and displaced into my lane. The outside of my car is OK, the

bra got marred, but underneath is a different story. The Wheel Housing liner is

damaged, the brake cooling duct is damaged, and the center cover is damaged! :(

I think that I can change out the other parts fairly easy. The Wheel Housing Liner, however,

looks to be a different story. Has anyone ever changed one of these? If so, does it require

the front bumper to be removed?

Any advice in this matter is highly appreciated.

You only need to remove the wheel to replace the wheel well lining.

See the DIY for the gas flap lock - we removed the whole wheel liner there.

In addition, you might want to buy a dozen 'expansion rivets' from the dealer along with the

liner. These tend to break when you remove older ones.
