I've searched but found no answers, so if I'm missing the thread on this subject, I apologize.

I took the amber out of my Litronics yesterday (2003 S).

Turn signal on the driver's side works fine. Front passenger turn signal does not work at all (bulb IS FINE) rear passenger turn signal blinks very rapidly.

With the hazards, Driver's side works fine, passenger side rear normal (not rapid) passenger side front does nothing.

Any ideas? Fuse? Relay? Did I break something?

If in none of those instances the front right bulb did nothing (yet the bulb was fine -- I assume you swapped it over to test), then it's a physical "disconnection" of some sort.

Check to see that the connectors, wiring and the bulb receptacle are all intact and not loose.

Just had a few minutes to try one thing tonight. Swapped the entire headlight assembly from my '02 Boxster into my '03 S.

Found that the problem is somewhere between the bulb and the connection to the car itself.

My old '02 headlight assembly works great in my '03 S, now the '02 has inherited the problem since it has inherited the '03's headlight assembly!

I KNOW the bulb is OK, so some connection within the headlight assembly must be loose.

Does the Bentley manual have a schematic of that? I've got one on the way.

Thanks

There are several ways that this can happen.

- The headlight connector (on the car) can be corroded

- The headlight connector (on the headlight unit) can be corroded

- The headlight might not be snapped in properly

- The bulb socket may be corroded

- The bulb filament may be flaky (partially connected)

- Some LED bulbs cause this behavior. :-)

I have seen all of the above many times. Moisture does sometimes get into the headlight area. Two of the above could easily happen on only one car if you swapped the headlight unit between two cars.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to spend a little more time on it tonight. First thing I will do is swap the socket/wires/connector assembly and see what happens.

Thanks
