Hi Guys,

I have a Cayenne V6 -08 and I would like to put the bumper/spoiler from the Turbo -08 on it, both front and back. I have looked through the Internet but I can only find kits for the old Cayenne, not the new one. So I was wondering if anyone knows somewhere I might be able to order theese parts? And if it's online order that would be even better, as I will ship them to Sweden :)

One more thing, has anyone any experience in doing this? I mean how complicated is it to put the Turbo spoilers on the V6? Can it be done?

I know it's maybe not the coolest thing to do... but it's not like I'm sticking the Turbo badge on it as well... :) and as soon as I can afford the Cayenne Turbo I will buy it. But here in Sweden a Cayenne Turbo is about 200.000 USD...

Any answers right know would help me alot

Thanks guys!

Emile

Yes, you can do it, use original parts, remember all turbo has headlight washers (?different cover shape?) and parking sensors, also turn lights, which you can connect witout any error messages on inst. cluster. We did this once.

Regards.

Hi!

Do you know where I can get these parts? Do you think my local dealership might do it? Or are they totally against these kinds of conversions?

Thanks

The problem in the Nord European country's are the taxes, for the same price you can buy a new Cayenne turbo + a new 987 in the US taxes inclusive, he only can buy a V6.

Well, here in the good'ol USA, in order to buy a nice Turbo Cayenne that sells for about $110,000 a person needs to earn about $200,000 in income to make that purchase. So, I don't see how this is really much different than Emile_s situation in the great country of Sweden.

Just a thought to consider.

Hi White,

Not trying to be rude or anything, but why do you have to have an income of 200 K in the US if it only costs 110K? What's the 90 in between for?

I'm actually interested, as I don't know much how it works over there.

And by the way I checked with Carnewal and they only have the Turbo conversion for the GEN 1 Cayenne on their website, but I mailed them so maybe they can offer it eventhough it's not listed.

Emile_s, no problem. Fair question. Sorry if what I said came out wrong.

If your income is say $200K you still have to pay income tax (approx. 35%), state taxes (approx 6%), other government taxes (approx 3%), and then the sales tax on the actual purchase (approx. 9%).

$200-$70-$12-6=$112 net income

$115K Porsche plus a 9% sales tax=$125,350

So, you need to actually earn more than $200!!
